Transformers

By: Mike H.

With the launch of the third Transformers film let’s take a look back at the 26 year history of the Transformers. Unlike popular belief, the transformers began not as a cartoon but as a line of toys. Transformers were invented by Hasbro and Takara Tomy, both of which are toy manufacturing companies. The Transformers toys inspired the 1980s carton which depicted a story about alien robots that are divided into two warring faction, Autobots and Decepticons. The animated series became a huge hit, airing for five seasons. The series also went through several reboots, in the 1990s and the 2000s. Today the Transformer story has been turned into three blockbuster motion pictures. Transformers memorabilia are a huge collector’s items. Some Transformers toy and apparel collections go for thousand of dollars, so be sure to get your Transformer memorabilia because they might become valuable some day.

Basic Guide to Buying Shunglasses

By: S Pak

Summer is here!! And what is the one of the best accessories to have when out in the sun, and save your vision at the same time? SUNGLASSES!

I wish I had better knowledge of picking sunglasses an article like this would have helped me 5 years ago when I am standing in front of about 50 pairs of shades, I LOVED 15 of them. Go figure.

SO, here are some tips to help narrow down the selection.

·Oval faces really go well with any kind of sunglasses, so pick sunglasses that matches your style. Sunglasses with a square frame and soft edges will look work really great. You can also try out the latest designs, such wraparounds, Lady Gaga inspired or Jackie retro frames.

·For a round face, sunglass styles as wide as or slightly wider than the broadest part of your face. Sunglasses with a rectangular frame or other angular frame with soft edges will help add definition to your face. Sunglasses with double brow bars help pull the eye upward, adding length to your face. Sunglasses with wider frames can help your face look thinner too.

· For a square face soften angles with classic oval sunglasses or round sunglasses. For more definition, add feminine look with curvy, cat eye inspired glasses

· For a triangular face draw attention to the eye area to keep attention away from a sharp jaw. Choose styles with a straight top line, such as aviators or sunglasses with angular frames. Rimless glasses can also help lighten your overall look by adding a soft edge that help blend well.

From my experience I feel that Aviators and wayfarers are the glasses that really fit any face type. The frames are very fashionable and can be worn by just about anybody, really.
